Q. Where do I purchase tickets?

A. Tickets can be purchased online. Purchases can also be made through our Box Office located in the Delta Bessborough on the 7th Floor. The Box Office phone number is 306.652.4700. Hours are 10AM to 4PM, Monday to Friday.

Q. can I use my cell phone for ticket scan?

A: If you have email on your phone tickets both iPhone and Android devices can be scanned.

Q. Where do I pick up tickets that I have purchased online or by phone?

A. Pre-purchased tickets are available for pick-up during regular hours only at the Box Office. Tickets will not be sent to the venue. If a purchaser goes to the gate and they do not have their ticket or confirmation form they must show a minimum of 1 piece of photo ID. The gate/door staff can electronically check them in.

Q. Can I have someone else pick up my tickets for me?

A. Yes – if the person purchasing tickets has notified the Box Office of the person’s name that will be picking them up. Appropriate ID will be required at time of ticket pick up.

Q. Can I get tickets that I purchased at the door of the show?
  1. Tickets will not be sent to the venue. If a purchaser goes to the door/gate and they do not have their ticket or confirmation form they must show a minimum of one piece of photo ID. The gate/door staff can electronically check them in.
Q. Do children require tickets?

A. Children 7 and under (proof of age required) are admitted free of charge. A maximum of two children will be admitted per ticket holding adult.

Q. Can I exchange tickets or get a refund?

A. We do not exchange tickets or provide refunds.

Q. What do I do if I purchase tickets and give them to friends?

A. Because tickets are in the name of the purchaser, it is best to inform the Festival Box Office, so they can make a change to the ticket holder in the event tickets are damaged, lost, stolen, or the ticket holder arrives without the ticket.

Q. What happens if it is raining?

A. Shows run rain or shine

Q. Is there seating at the gardens?

A. Attendees bring their own seating, if they so choose (not required). If you will be able purchase SWIFFA camp chairs and small blankets at the Artisan Tent.

Q. Can I bring food and beverages into bessborough garden events?

A. No – outside food and beverage is not permitted.

Q. Can I take pictures or video concerts?

A. Camera and recording devices with detachable lens are not permitted. Unaccredited photographers using cameras with detachable lens will be asked to not use their equipment by a Festival representative or security personnel. Cell phone cameras with recording functions or point and shoot style cameras are permitted at the Festival.

Q. Where are washrooms located?

A. Public washrooms, which are wheelchair accessible, are set up in the Bessborough Gardens.

Q. Where can I purchase souvenirs and festival merch?

A. We sell our Festival and Performing Artists merchandise on site at the Bessborough Gardens along with Aboriginal artisans under the MPN Global Market Place Tent.

Q. What type of payment options does the festival have?

A. Tickets can be purchased with cash, debit, Visa and MasterCard in person. SWIFFA Festival merch and souvenirs can be purchased with cash, Artist merch can be purchased with cash only in person at the Festival.

Q. Are ATM's available?

A. The closest ATM to the Bessborough Gardens is in the Bessborough Hotel and Sheraton Cavalier Hotel. We suggest bringing cash with you as lineups can get long and the ATM’s often run out of cash.

Q. Where can I get a schedule/program?

A. The Lineup is now published on our website. The printed program will be available at the Festival Box Office.

Q. Is there a lost and found?

A. All items that have been found at Festival venues will be turned in to the Information Tent located in the Bessborough Gardens.

Q. Is the festival wheelchair accessible?

A. The festival venue is wheelchair accessible.

Q. I have lost/not received my tickets, what do I do?

A. Please call our Box Office (306.652.4700) to verify that we have received your order. Please have your order confirmation handy.

Q. Can I bring my dog to the festival?

A. Dogs are not permitted in the Bessborough Gardens

Q. What should I bring to the gardens?

A. Folding chair, sunscreen, rain coat, cell phone, cash, bug spray, (depending on weather) rainboots, point and shoot cameras

Q. Are food and drinks available at the bessborough gardens.

A. Yes. The catering is provided by the Bessborough and food tickets need to be purchased prior to picking up food. Bessborough will be providing uniquely indigenous food from Saskatchewan

Q. What time do doors open for SWIFFA Mainstage?

A. Doors open an hour prior to show time at 2 p.m.
